..It has really helped me to bring EVERYTHING together.
The programme helps me stay on track as an illustrator, not only in terms of DEVELOPING my SKILL SET, but more importantly, in managing REAL-LIFE situations as an artist.
Many of the practices have helped me reflect on myself and become more aware of my creative process.
Having a mentor to guide me has also supported my CONFIDENCE greatly.
Being among other artists makes me feel less ALONE, knowing that we’re going through similar things while SUPPORTING each other makes me feel warm and ENCOURAGED.
...There's something genuinely comforting about hearing that others are in the same boat. To anyone who's unsure, I'd say trust the process. Jo's approach with me wasn't prescriptive, but she gave me the kind of prompts that helped me find my voice and direction, and that's exactly what I needed"
"Even though I haven't completed much of the programme, I'm more in the beginning, I already feel that a lot of things have changed in my approach since I started....
...I also think that I'm getting better at separating tasks, the creative tasks that are important to me, and I don't get distracted by everything that comes my way.
I am getting really better with planning and productivity, which was really important to me"
"I was a full-time mum expecting my second child at the time, and I felt very detached from my creative work.
Joining the Collective allowed me to both reflect on my professional goals and reconnect with my own artistic practice.
I regained creative energy and eventually built a new body of work and gained the confidence to share this.
A year on from that, I’ve exhibited — a solo show — and I’m getting client work in again.
I’m now getting commissions based on this personal work produced in the Creative Collective!!".
With the tools I've gained through the online Framework and with the constant support from Joanna and the other members of the group, I slowly began to rebuild my confidence as an artist.
I learned how to manage my time better and how to use my feminine energy more intentionally".

You’re craving clarity in your creative practice that creates exciting momentum
You are ready to harness the direction for your next creative chapter
You want to refine your folio, message or identity to reflect your evolution
You’re done doing it alone and ready to be witnessed, supported, and challenged
You’re building or rebuilding visibility around who you really are as an artist
You’re ready to take yourself seriously (and gently) as a creative leader
The Creative COLLECTIVE is designed to support your creative life, not overwhelm it.
The core commitment is a weekly live mentoring call - join when you can, catch the recording when life is full.
Exercises and prompts within the framework are meant to be moved through at your pace, and many members naturally pause and return as the timing feels right.
You have 12 months' access, so there's no rush. The deepest benefit comes from moving through it alongside Joanna and the other artists
Artists inside the Collective have experienced RESULTS such as:
Expanded into new TERRITORIES to work with larger paid creative COLLABORATIONS
Had the support to pitch for bigger creative CLIENTS and COLLABORATIONS
clearer CREATIVE DIRECTION and stronger body of work
increased confidence and BIGGER ENGAGEMENT & VISIBILITY
ACCESSED bigger collaborations, AGENCIES & brand OPPORTUNITIES
stronger INCOME streams and pricing confidence
renewed ENERGY, MOTIVATION and connection within their creative practice
But just as importantly, many members share that they begin to feel more supported, BRAVER, understood and LESS ALONE in their creative journey.
The Creative Collective is a high-touch mentoring and creative accelerator, combining Joanna’s guidance, peer support, and a co-created programme.
Investment details are shared during the complimentary discovery call, where Joanna will talk you through the structure, support and payment options available.
For those who prefer flexibility, monthly instalments are also available.
Each Creative Collective is unique.
Each group is unique - because every group brings different energy, backgrounds and goals. Joanna shapes each Collective around the artists inside it, so the programme evolves in a way that genuinely serves the group.
A central framework guides the journey, but the experience is led by the people in it.
We meet regularly for mentoring calls where questions, challenges and ideas are explored together, supported by tools, exercises and prompts for your creative direction, visibility and improved income.
It’s both, but the community is truly the heart of it.
The Collective brings together a small group of ambitious women creatives who share experiences, insights and encouragement as they navigate similar challenges in their creative careers.
Alongside this, there is the Framework - comprised of lessons, resources and powerful tools you can integrate into your workflow with ease.
But what really sets the Collective apart from other experiences is the available shared space of support, conversation and growth that happens between members.
Many artists say this sense of connection and understanding becomes one of the most powerful parts of the experience.
The Collective welcomes both emerging and mid-career creatives.
However, each group is carefully curated so that members are at a similar stage in their creative journey, allowing conversations and experiences to feel relevant and supportive to one another.
For example, some Collectives bring together artists who are already established in their careers, while others may focus on creatives building their next chapter.
The goal is always to create a group where members can learn from one another’s experiences while moving forward together.
Joanna Henly (also known as Miss Led) is a multidisciplinary artist, creative director and mentor with over 25 years of experience in the creative industries.
She has worked with global brands including Google, Nike, Clinique, Braun and Vans.
Exhibited in venues such as Saatchi Gallery and Somerset House.
Published 2 books, sold worldwide, including the Tate Modern, Barnes & Noble and the National Portrait Gallery.
Alongside her studio practice, Joanna has spent many years mentoring artists and running workshops for creative communities, helping creatives navigate the realities of building a sustainable career.
What makes Joanna’s mentoring unique is the balance between creative depth and practical strategy. She helps artists clarify their voice, communicate the value of their work, and build a creative career that feels both authentic and aligned with who they are becoming.
Entry into the Collective is by application and conversation.
The first step is to book a complimentary call with Joanna, during which you can talk through your current creative stage, what you’re looking for, and whether the Collective feels aligned with you.
This approach ensures the group remains carefully curated, with artists whose journeys and ambitions complement one another.
"I just love Jo’s energy. Every time I leave a call I FEEL SEEN, supported, MOTIVATED and inspired.
The work with Jo goes really deep and is individually tailored to my needs. There’s so much value in the Creative Collective program that I will for sure keep coming back to for years.
I loved going into my vision and values and hearing about how other artists perceive my work.
I also realised that most creatives are struggling with similar issues.
It’s so great to get the right tools and support to tackle those themes and blocks"
Julia Massow - Illustrator, London
"You've truly selected an AMAZING GROUP, I feel so LUCKY to be part of it!!
The group is really great! I feel we all have so much in common. And every intention we write seemed to apply to everyone, and we inspire each other in that way.
The same on Slack (online community space), everyone seems happy to chime in and support the others.
Thank you for creating this group, and guiding us all!!
You've truly selected an amazing group, and I feel so lucky to be part of it!!"
Birgitte Johnsen - illustrator, Norway
"The collective was an amazing experience, being surrounded by so many INSIGHTFUL and motivated creative women
At the beginning, I was looking for a mentor who would help me tackle my insecurities, my creative blocks and help me push through these. I felt Jo’s programme was extremely well organised and I was able to tackle all the questions and objectives I had.
I’m really so grateful for this experience and looking forward to working more with Jo this year, as I feel it was the right move for me to move my creative career forward, and I’m sure this programme will help more people as it’s helped me!!"
Mafalda Slam — illustrator and artist, Lisbon
"I feel very grateful to have lived this EXPERIENCE with Joanna and the Creative Collective"
Working with Jo and the Collective was a very valuable, inspiring and revealing experience. It helped me understand more deeply the meaning of my work, to feel confident in myself to create habits, as well as make friends within the Collective.
Sharing with artists who are going through the same concerns as me and who can contribute a lot with their different points of view.
I would definitely recommend this mentoring to all artists who want to take their career to the next level."
Paula Blanche - fashion artist, Chile
